Check KYC status - Zquence

Zquence provides a simple way to check the current KYC verification status of a user. Use the status API to determine whether a user has completed identity verification and is eligible to transact.

Get KYC status

To check the current KYC verification status of a user, use the following endpoint:

GET /v1/kyc/:userId

This returns the user’s current KYC status, including verification details and provider results. See the KYC status API for full documentation and response schema.

Status values

`status`	Meaning
`pending`	KYC record created, user hasn’t started verification.
`in_progress`	User has started the verification flow.
`review`	Awaiting additional automated or manual checks.
`complete`	Verified and approved. User is eligible to transact.
`failed`	Did not pass verification. See rejection reason for details.
